Feeling inspired by Jon Favrau, Obama’s 27-year-old chief speech writer.  Young, hip, dashing, and a great wordsmith. Tomorrow I am interviewing for the position of President’s speech writer at the University I work at.  I was feeling nervous after reading the online CV of the last woman who held the position (25 + years as a journalist, executive communication specialist, and speech writer).  I stumbled onto this great story in the NY Times and felt 100% better.  I may be under 30 but I’m a damn good writer and can compete with the rest of them.
